Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.
Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.

The Little Long Walk is a fun community event inspired by Michael Long’s powerful walk to Canberra in 2004, which raised awareness and advocated for the rights and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We will begin with a Welcome to Country, followed by a short talk from The Long Walk team. Then it’s time for fun cultural activities for kids and families such as banner making and the Marngrook program, where they will enjoy traditional games, storytelling, language, art, and learning about tools and artefacts in a fun and engaging way.
We will also take a community walk together around Sunvale Community Park, and finish with a BBQ provided by the Sunshine Lions Club.
All welcome.
