NRW Events Calendar 2026

Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).

The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.

Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.

Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.

National Reconciliation Week 2026 Celebration Kempsey

June 2 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am UTC+10

Join Kempsey Shire Council in celebrating National Reconciliation Week for 2026.

Kempsey Shire Council will be hosting a morning tea, smoking ceremony & cultural activities on Tuesday 2 June 2026 from 10:00am to 11:30am outside the Kempsey Shire Library. Includes Flag Raising ceremony.

The event is free to attend, and everyone is welcome.

The National Reconciliation Week theme for 2026, All In, makes clear that reconciliation is not a spectator sport and that all of us must step away from the sidelines and take action to make change.

The theme also reminds us that reconciliation and advancing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ rights isn’t a passive activity.

All In is not about guilt or shame, but about the reciprocal responsibility of being Australian. Reconciliation will not happen by itself; we must be all in for reconciliation.

Will you answer the call to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day?
