Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.
Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.

Opening this weekend at the Shire of Carnarvon Library & Art Gallery — Portraits of Yinggarda Elders II.
This powerful exhibition celebrates the strength, stories and cultural legacy of eight respected Yinggarda Elders through portraiture, created by local artists under the guidance of Carnarvon artist Gosia Taylor.
Join us during the Gnulli Festival for a special Yarns & Tea opening:
📅 Saturday 23 May
🕙 10–11am
📍 Shire of Carnarvon Library & Art Gallery
The exhibition forms part of National Reconciliation Week and will be on display until 13 June 2026.
These portraits are more than artworks — they are stories, knowledge and cultural strength preserved for future generations.
