NRW Events Calendar 2026

Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).

The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.

Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.

Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.

National Reconciliation Week Illumination

May 27 @ 6:00 pm - May 29 @ 11:00 pm UTC+10

As night falls, see the Parliament House façade be transformed with an illumination of Numbat Night. Numbat Night is a 2024 artwork by John Prince Siddon, a Walmajarri artist based in Rubibi/Broome.
Prince’s work weaves together contemporary life and ancestral creation stories. See the illumination from 27 to 29 May. The original work will also be on public display at Australian Parliament House from 19 May to October 2026.
