Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.
Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
Join us on Gubbi Gubbi Country for the GATHAA Reconciliation Week Market, a celebration of First Nations culture, creativity and community. Hosted at the Hope Dreaming Visitor Centre in Caloundra, this special edition market honours the 2025 Reconciliation Week theme “Bridging Now to Next” by showcasing the talents of First Nations artisans, creators, entrepreneurs and knowledge holders.
Enjoy market stalls featuring arts, bushfoods, artefacts jewellery and homewares, along with interactive workshops and live performances. Learn to make native dukkah with Aunty Dale Chapman, decorate a pot with Mandy Draper, or join Uncle Charlie Waters for a hat burning and cultural design session. The event also features bushfood-inspired food trucks, live music, and a dedicated creative space for children.
Free and family-friendly, GATHAA is a gathering place for all – where culture is celebrated, stories are shared, and reconciliation is lived.
