Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.
Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.

The Boorloo Aboriginal Alliance is holding the Boorloo Walk for Truth as part of the National Walk for Truth happening across the country on 27 May 2026. The walks are taking place during National Reconciliation Week, and mark the end of Yoorook Commissioner Travis Lovett’s 800km National Walk for Truth from Melbourne to Canberra.
The Boorloo Walk for Truth, hosted by Noongar TV presenter Narelda Jacobs, will begin at The Point at 11am and walk to Parliament House by 2pm, to call for Aboriginal-led truthtelling in WA and nationally.
This is an opportunity to listen deeply and to walk in unity – it is not a protest. Along the way, participants will hear truthtelling stories of strength and courage, including following in the footsteps of Whadjuk matriarch Fanny Balbuk Yooreel. Balbuk resisted attempts to stop her practising traditions and culture, and she frequently protested at Government House.
