Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.
Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.

Place + Practice, with Shea Oberleuter
As part of National Reconciliation Week, join Torres Strait Islander artist Shea Oberleuter for a conversation exploring memory, identity, culture and change, and the experiences that continue to shape their creative practice.
Central to her work is the idea of “Lewa,”a word that carries layered personal meaning, grounding her practice in lived experience and heritage. Through process and form, Shea considers how identity is shaped across time, and how it can be expressed through material and making.
Shea Oberleuter is a glass artist whose practice blends traditional techniques with contemporary expression. Drawing on her cultural identity, her work explores themes of family, memory, and belonging. Currently studying at the Victorian College of the Arts, she is developing sculptural forms that bridge craft, architecture, and personal narrative.
In this artist talk, Torres Strait Islander artist Shea Oberleuter reflects on the relationship between place, identity, and
