Reconciliation Australia launches new Innovate RAP

Reconciliation Australia’s sixth Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) enables us to better align our commitments with our current strategies, structures and ways of working.

Our new Innovate RAP reflects the fact that we are a very different organisation today to when our previous Stretch RAP was developed. The size of the organisation has increased significantly, as has our scope of work.

The RAP network has also expanded significantly and the expectations of Stretch RAP partners have deepened.

By taking the Innovate pathway, we are staying accountable both to the ideals, objectives and high standards of the RAP program, and to our determination to embed reconciliation deeply and meaningfully across our organisation.

Reconciliation Australia’s Innovate RAP allows us to test new approaches to governance structures, lead by example by aligning our RAP type to our business and create new opportunities for staff to build their knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories.
