Reconciliation Australia’s sixth Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) enables us to better align our commitments with our current strategies, structures and ways of working.
The decision to develop an Innovate RAP reflects the fact that our organisation has grown in both size and scope with new program areas and increased staff numbers.
By taking the Innovate pathway, we are staying accountable both to the ideals, objectives and high standards of the RAP program, and to our determination to embed reconciliation deeply and meaningfully across our organisation.
This new RAP allows us to test new approaches to governance structures, lead by example by aligning our RAP type to our business and create new opportunities for staff to build their knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories.
