Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.
Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
Yarn and Create: Connecting Through Culture, Creativity, and Conversation
Join Timeah a Ewamian and Djungan woman in Rubibi (Broome) at beautiful Reddell Beach for Yarn and Create, a heartfelt experience that goes beyond art. Rooted in the belief that creativity has the power to inspire, connect, and transform, our Yarn and Paint sessions are more than just painting—they’re about culture, storytelling, and meaningful connection.
As part of Reconciliation Week, this gathering is a space to listen, learn, reflect, and come together in the spirit of unity. Each session invites you to slow down, spark your creativity, and be part of something truly special, where culture is honoured and memories are made, one brushstroke at a time.
