Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.
Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
It is the first of its kind from the Uluru Dialogue and brings local Aboriginal storytelling to life. Through a partnership between the Indigenous Law Centre at UNSW and the Justice and Equity Centre, the Towards Truth Exhibition provides a foundational resource to strengthen local truth-telling initiatives and will be held at the Hurstville Library on Bidjigal country from 7 May – 1 June, in the lead up to National Reconciliation Week. The Exhibition features detailed explanations of the laws and policies that have impacted Aboriginal people in NSW since 1788 and shares stories of the local people of Georges River and Salt Pan Creek. The Exhibition is an open invitation to come and learn about our shared history.
