Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.
Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
Join us for a special screening of Sweet As at the Capri Theatre, Goodwood, on Wednesday 28 May at 6:30pm. The evening will begin with a Welcome to Country by Uncle Moogy Sumner.
This event reflects RAA’s commitment to building strong relationships and creating opportunities for learning and reflection during National Reconciliation Week.
Sweet As is a powerful Australian coming-of-age film about 16-year-old Murra, an Indigenous girl navigating a difficult home life. Enrolled in a youth photography program for at-risk teens, she embarks on a life-changing road trip through the Pilbara outback with a group of peers.
The screening is free, and donations are welcome in support of our partners at the Tjindu Foundation. Learn more about our partnership with Tjindu [here].
Starring Shantae Barnes-Cowan, Tasma Walton and Carlos Sanson Jr.
Directed by Jub Clerc.
Winner of the Crystal Bear, Berlin International Film Festival 2023.
