Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.
Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.

We welcome people of all nationalities to attend and learn about First Nations culture, stories and songs.
The theme of National Reconciliation Week 2026 is ‘All In’. As part of this we’ll sing this year’s song, Beds Are Burning, which was written and performed by Midnight Oil and released in 1987. Beds Are Burning is a powerful call to action for justice and reconciliation, encouraging Australians to know our history and work toward a more equitable future for all.
In 2026, Reconciliation Australia celebrates its 25th anniversary. Join Voices for Reconciliation and sing Beds Are Burning alongside hundreds of choirs around the country.
Barayagal Choir is a community choir, hosted by the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and the University of Sydney. They meet weekly at Redfern Community Centre.
This free event is open to all ages.
