NRW Events Calendar 2026

Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).

The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.

Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.

Reconciliation Week Yarn 2026

May 20 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am UTC+10

Join Red Dust for a meaningful Reconciliation Week yarn, bringing community together to listen, learn and reflect. This gathering creates a safe and respectful space for open conversation, storytelling and shared understanding. Through dialogue, we aim to deepen awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and perspectives, while strengthening relationships across community. Whether you are new to these conversations or continuing your journey, this event welcomes everyone with curiosity and respect. Come along to connect, ask questions, and be part of a collective commitment to reconciliation. Together, we can foster understanding, challenge assumptions and build stronger, more respectful communities. Light refreshments will be provided, and all are encouraged to participate in a way that feels comfortable. Your presence contributes to a shared path forward grounded in respect, truth and connection.
