NRW Events Calendar 2026

Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).

The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.

Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.

Reconciliation Week Kids Event: All In

June 1 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am UTC+10

A special Reconciliation Week event for children, with a Welcome to Country, shared stories and hands on craft activities.
Join us at Burnside Library for a children’s Reconciliation Week event to come together, listen, learn and reflect.

National Reconciliation Week is held each year from 27 May to 3 June and is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements and to think about how we can all contribute to reconciliation now and into the future.

The event will begin with a Welcome to Country presented by Luke Wilson with didgeridoo accompaniment by Rivva Karpany from Kumu Kaaru. Followed by story time featuring stories by Aboriginal authors.

Following the presentation, there will be time for children to take part in craft activities to respond to what they have heard.

Please register your interest.
