NRW Events Calendar 2026

Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).

The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.

Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.

Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.

National Sorry Day Sunshine Coast

May 26 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm UTC+10

Join us on National Sorry Day for a meaningful and moving gathering of truth-telling, reflection, and learning. This event will centre the lived experiences and ongoing impacts of the Stolen Generations, bringing together personal story, historical context, and insight into intergenerational trauma.

We are honoured to welcome Uncle Tais Muchan, a Kabi Kabi Elder with the Undumbi Culture Group, who will share his family’s story of child removal, alongside Professor David Hollinsworth, who will provide broader context on the history and impacts of the Stolen Children, and Karen Malcolm, who will speak to the science of intergenerational trauma, including insights from epigenetics.

All are warmly invited to be part of this important conversation.
