NRW Events Calendar 2026

Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).

The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.

National Carillon Recital All In

May 30 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm UTC+10

Join Carillonist Dr Thomas Laue and acclaimed Wiradjuri-Tongan vocalist Tahalianna Soward-Mahanga for a special National Reconciliation Week concert at the National Carillon celebrating the 2026 theme “All In” — a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation.
The concert program weaves together Indigenous Australian voices and international anthems of hope, justice and unity. Opening with Joe Geia’s healing anthem “Yil Lull,” the performance features Midnight Oil’s powerful land rights statement “Beds are Burning” — the featured song for National Reconciliation Week 2026 — alongside John Farnham’s “You’re the Voice,” Andra Day’s stirring “Rise Up,” and Bruce Woodley’s “We are Australian.” The program also includes traditional Torres Strait Islander song “Taba Naba,” John Lennon’s timeless “Imagine,” and Michael Jackson’s uplifting “Heal the World.”

This unique collaboration showcases the National Carillon’s 57 bells alongside Tahalianna’s soaring vocals, demonstrating that reconciliation is a shared journey requiring all Australians to stand together.
