Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.
Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
The Mabo Day Concert is a key event in CoM’s National Reconciliation Week 2025 Program. Mabo Day commemorates Mer Island man Eddie Koiki Mabo and his successful efforts to overturn the legal fiction of terra nullius, or ‘land belonging to no-one’. This day is traditionally a day of celebrating Torres Strait Islander peoples and culture.
The Koorie Heritage Trust has been sponsored by CoM, to deliver an event for the Torres Strait Islander and broader community. It will be curated by KHT and well-known Meriam/Yidinji/Dutch actor, singer and writer Lisa Maza.
This event is a free community concert consisting of live music, food, craft and other entertainment by Torres Strait Islander creatives and will formally close the CoM NRW 2025 Program.
