Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.
Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
An Invitation to Reflect and Connect
The GPT Group invites you to a private screening in honour of National Reconciliation Week 2025.
Held exclusively at Hoyts Melbourne Central, this special event features a private showing of HOLDING S P A C E, a powerful short film that explores deep connections to place and the emotions Country evokes for First Nations peoples. Through moving visual storytelling, Apryl Day (Yorta Yorta, Wemba Wemba, and Barapa Barapa) and Jirra Lulla (Yorta Yorta and Wiradjuri) share their heartfelt thanks to their Elders — honouring their role in nurturing identity, culture, and belonging, ensuring future generations always have a place to call home.
Following the screening, join us for a special Q&A session with Apryl and Jirra as they discuss the stories and inspiration behind the film.
There are only 30 spots for the general public.
