Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.
Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
Talks of reconciliation are not new – and yet, we find ourselves in an annual reminder of its importance.
So, what does this mean for allies – both organisations and individuals – who want to influence change now? And how should non-Indigenous people move beyond tokenistic efforts and initiatives to realise reconciliation?
Join two of today’s most powerful Indigenous voices to talk about this and more:
Professor Megan Davis AC, a Cobble Cobble woman of the Barunggam Nation, an architect of the Uluru Statement from the Heart, and a renowned constitutional lawyer and public law expert, who is currently holding a Chair at Harvard University and is a visiting Professor at Harvard Law School; and
Adam Goodes, an Adnyamathanha man, a passionate advocate for Indigenous equity and opportunity, co-founder of the @Goodes O’Loughlin (GO) Foundation, and AFL legend.
It’s a session not to be missed!
