Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.
Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.

ANTaR Armidale will be co-hosting this year’s Annual Armidale Bridge Walk with the Armidale Aboriginal Cultural Centre and Keeping Place. The Bridge Walk will take place at 12pm on Sunday 31 May at the picnic area near the Visitor Information Centre, on the corner of Dumaresq and Marsh Streets.
The Armidale Bridge Walk, held each year during or near National Reconciliation Week, commemorates the Walk for Reconciliation across the Sydney Harbour Bridge in 2000 when ‘Sorry’ was written across the sky and 300,000 people walked across the bridge, sparking many similar events across the nation. This event was a peaceful demonstration that reflected a shift in public attitudes towards the importance of reconciliation.
The highlight of this year’s Bridge Walk will be a performance by the Lyāmbay Aboriginal Dance Group from Armidale Secondary College, whose success in multiple local public events and at the NSW Schools Spectacular was formally recognised.
