Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.
Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.

Northern Beaches Council warmly invites you to a Diverse Community Yarning Circle, a chance to come together, listen deeply and reflect on reconciliation in today’s world.
This yarning circle will be guided by Karen Smith, much‑loved Aboriginal Heritage Officer, making this her final Reconciliation Week before retirement. It’s a special opportunity to learn from Karen’s knowledge and experience and to share in a thoughtful, community‑led conversation.
What we’ll explore together – in this relaxed and welcoming space, we will:
– Explore the significance of reconciliation today and why it continues to matter
– Listen to First Nations perspectives and lived experience
– Unpack the cultural practice of Acknowledgement of Country
– Reflect on our own connection to place and community
Participants will be gently invited to write their own authentic Acknowledgement, and understand why speaking from the heart matters.
