NRW Events Calendar 2026

Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).

The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.

Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.

A Line That Could Not Be Broken – Author Talk & Community Gathering

May 30 @ 10:30 am - 11:15 am UTC+10

Join Frankie Dunne for a powerful author talk and community gathering during Reconciliation Week in Moe.

This event shares the story behind A Line That Could Not Be Broken: Echoes of Family Country and the Stolen Generations. The book is a deeply personal truth telling of family history survival and connection to Country, grounded in lived experience as a descendant of the Stolen Generations.

More than a book launch, this is a space for community to come together. The event will include storytelling, cultural sharing, and Aboriginal dancing, followed by a small community gathering with food.

Frankie Dunne is a Traditional Owner and Native Title Holder with connections across Victoria and New South Wales. His work is recognised nationally and internationally and contributes to preserving Aboriginal history, culture, and intergenerational knowledge.

All community members are welcome to attend.
