Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.
Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
Sunshine Coast Reconciliation Group organises this walk each year. We gather at Dicky Beach Park, Caloundra to celebrate the legacy of our Patron Aunty Betty McMahon. Local First Nations services and Elders attend. Lyndon Davis and the Gubbi Gubbi Dancers teach school children dances and lead a walk on Country. Dept Sport and Rec lead Traditional Indigenous Games, and numerous stalls teach healthy living. This year is the 10th anniversary of the Walk and we will be unveiling a plaque commemorating Aunty Betty’s magnificent contribution to the community and the ongoing legacy of her work on the Sunshine Coast.
