Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.
Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
The tenth annual Aunty Betty Memorial Reconciliation Walk at Dicky Beach on the Sunshine Coast honours the memory and work of well-regarded elder, Aunty Betty McMahon.
The Walk is an initiative of the Sunshine Coast Reconciliation Group Inc (SCRGI); part of our region’s contribution to National Reconciliation Week and aligned with the 2025 theme ‘Bridging Now to Next’.
This year a plaque will be unveiled, to memorialise Aunty Betty and her contribution to community, in co-operation with the McMahon family and Sunshine Coast Council who will also have representatives in attendance.
Cultural sharing and a performance by Lyndon Davis and the Gubbi Gubbi Dance Troupe will be featured.
Lyndon will lead the guided Walk.
