Every year workplaces, schools, early learning services, community groups, reconciliation groups, and people right across the country host a range of activities and events during National Reconciliation Week (NRW).
The dates for NRW are the same each year: 27 May to 3 June. Look through the calendar to see how you can mark NRW at an event near you.
Hosting your own NRW event? Head to the Events page to add it to the calendar.
Please note: the events on this calendar are not the responsibility of Reconciliation Australia. If you have any questions regarding an event, please contact the organisers.
Althea’s Community Hub invites you to join us in celebrating National Reconciliation Week on Wednesday 28 May 2025 at 46-48 Morehead Street, South Townsville.
The event will feature a beading and weaving session, followed by a delicious home-cooked traditional lunch. The celebration will be hosted by Phoebe Nona with her family and friends, all proud Kaurareg women from the Torres Strait Island traditional lands of Erubam Le (Darnley Island) and Badhulgal (Badu Island). The lunch menu includes Zimmurel Chicken, Sop Sop, Curry Chicken, Rice, Banana Leaf Damper, and scones. This special event aims to bring people together to share in the rich history and vibrant culture of First Nations Australians.
