DESCRIPTION:Through the Yogic principle & practice of Ahimsa (non-harming) Nura Yoga invites participants to be “All In” by replacing passive awareness with active non-harming & compassionate commitment to addressing the systemic & interpersonal inequalities faced by Aboriginal people. Ahimsa (non-harming) provides a framework for challenging injustice without reproducing harm\, focusing on truth-telling\, deep listening & structural change. The Yoga Walks on Country will be guided by First Nation’s yogi\, traditional custodian & elder incorporating truth-telling\, deep listening & how yogic philosophy of Yama’s & Niyama’s can help participants lead a ethical & sustainable approach to Reconciliation.
