DESCRIPTION:The event will be held on Wednesday 27 May 2026\, at the Albury QE 11 Square flag poles on Dean Street\, commencing at 10:00am and scheduled to conclude at 10:30am. \n*Aunty Edna Stewart will perform a “Welcome to Country” ceremony.\n*Uncle Darren Wighton will play the Digeridoo and perform a “Smoking” ceremony.\n*The Albury City Mayor – Cr Kevin Mack will officially open the ceremony.\n*AlburyCity Interim CEO – Steve McGrath to MC the event.\n*Expected attendees include Mob\, Kindergartens\, Schools\, organisation representatives\, Government and Non-Government representatives\, broader community members. \nAfter the flag raising ceremony people will be invited into the Murray Arts Albury Museum for a cuppa and yarn.
