DESCRIPTION:Through the yogic principle & practice of Ahimas (non-harming) Nura yoga invites participants to be “All In” by replacing passive awareness with active non-harming & compassionate commitment to addressing the systemic inequalities faced by Aboriginal people. Ahimsa (non-harming) provides a framework for challenging the injustice without reproducing harm\, focusing on truth-telling\, deep listening & structural change. The Yoga Walks on Country will be guided by First Nation’s yogi\, traditional custodian & elder incorporating truth-telling\, deep listening & how yogic philosophy of Yama’s & Niyama’s can help participants lead an ethical & sustainable approach to Reconciliation.
