DESCRIPTION:Join us for a meaningful day at Tom Packer Reserve in Athelstone\, SA. This special event will bring us together to connect\, learn about First Nations perspectives\, and help to breathe new life into Athelstone’s green spaces. \nWe will begin the morning by planting 700 seedlings before being joined by local Kaurna and Peramangk man Uncle Ivan-Tiwu Copley\, who will be yarning with us over some lunch\, offering an opportunity to openly listen\, learn\, and reflect together as part of National Reconciliation Week. \nYou’ll spend the day caring for Country\, while improving your own wellbeing and creating a renewed sense of community. \nA free lunch will be provided\, and you’ll also receive a native bush food seedling sourced from Red Centre Enterprises – a First Nations organisation. \nOur friendly team will be there to share their knowledge\, and don’t worry\, we’ve got all the tools and equipment you need.
