Reconciliation Australia is looking for passionate and experienced Professional Learning and Curriculum officer to join the Narragunnawali: Reconciliation in Education program.

The role

The Senior Officer Professional Learning and Curriculum makes a significant contribution to the ongoing development and implementation of Reconciliation Australia’s Narragunnawali: Reconciliation in Education program, with a focus on professional learning and curriculum resources and partnerships.

Narragunnawali (pronounced narra-gunna-wally) is a word from the language of the Ngunnawal people, Traditional Owners of the land on which Reconciliation Australia’s Canberra office is located. The word means alive, wellbeing, coming together and peace.We pay our respects and thank the United Ngunnawal Elders Council for giving us permission to use the word narragunnawali.

About you

You thrive in a supportive team environment and are passionate about the vision of Reconciliation Australia. You have experience in engaging in reconciliation in Australian school or early learning service settings, and a strong understanding of what makes a quality educational resource. You are an effective communicator who is highly organised, responsive and works collaboratively with your fellow team members, while juggling competing demands in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and other details

The salary range for this role is $70,000 – $85,000 + Superannuation, dependent on experience and qualifications, and is a fixed-term contract to 30 June 2023.
