RA Level 6, Salary Range $125,000 – $150,000 + Super. Starting salary will depend on experience and qualification

Reconciliation Australia is seeking a Deputy Chief Executive Officer

The Opportunity

The Deputy CEO will work collaboratively with the CEO to provide strong internal leadership, enabling Reconciliation Australia to achieve its strategic and operational goals. The position actively engages and liaises with external stakeholders, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders. Based in Canberra, the Deputy CEO will be a spokesperson for Reconciliation Australia, effectively communicating the organisation’s vision and agenda.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership with the ability to build internal organisational capability in line with strategic goals and work effectively with external stakeholders. An understanding and awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and issues affecting them is an essential requirement of the role.
