SUMMARY:All In On Reconciliation: Storytelling Through Film
DESCRIPTION:A partnership between ACT Natimuk and Gariwerd Wimmera Reconciliation Network\, ‘All In On Reconciliation: Storytelling Through Film’\, will be an in conversation and showcase event highlighting short film ‘The Story of Becoming Nala’. The short film is an extension project of ACT Natimuk’s inaugural First Nations Creative Lab recipients Alan Murphy and Chrissie Secombe\, with the current First Nations Creative Lab artist\, Dylan Singh\, which is inspired by Alan Murphy’s personal journey to reconnect with Country and discover his father’s birthplace. This will be followed by the feature film ‘The Colleano Heart’ which talks to the reconnection of Aboriginal identity in a well-known circus family.
